Session

Everyone wants to be connected to something good, especially in the fast paced life we lead. Family by Family is run by families of all sorts, and is there to link families to each others goals and dreams. The not for profit organisation exists to hep families get more good stuff from each other, their communities and from life.

So what does this mean for social entrepreneurs and social innovation? How can we harness this hyperconnectedness for social good and social change, and more importantly, how can we accelerate social innovation in a rapidly changing, hyperconnected economy?

Family by Family is a ew model for family support, which links up families who've been through tough times with families still facing times who want life to get better.

This radically different model to support families in stress was co-designed with families in South Australia and is now spreading to more places in SA.

Family by Family director Carolyn Curtis is visiting Perth and will talk abou tthe journey taken with these families, and what they can teach us about providing family support.
